This one dish meal with meat & vegetables is good enough just for me and 2 kids when my hubby is not at home! My kids will usually finished up the broccoli and cauliflower if I cooked it tender enough :D My cute lil gal kept asking for more carrots cos it was cut into flower shapes!!
Ingredient
- 10 chicken mid wings
- 5 shallots, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 cm fresh ginger, shredded
- 2 tbsp chinese wine
- 50gm carrots, sliced
- 200gm cauliflower florets
- 150gm broccoli florets
Marinate :
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger juice
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
Seasoning :
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
Method
- Season chicken mid wings marinate for 20mins. Pan fry in hot oil on both sides until golden brown.
- Blanch carrots, cauliflower and broccoli in boiling water for 2 mins. Drain well.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok. Add shallots, garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add in chicken mid wings, vegetables and seasoning and toss well for 2 mins until heat through. Drizzle over wine. Serve hot.
