mould into cylinder shape..
coat with flour, egg & breadcrumbs, ready to pan-fry....
Ingredient- 300gm yam, steamed & mashed
- 100gm minced pork
- 60gm carrot, grated
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 stalk spring onion, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
for coating :
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- some plain flour
- some breadcrumbs
Method- Mix all ingredients together evenly.
- Lightly grease hand, shape yam mixture into small cylinder shape.
- Coat yam croquettes with flour, then dip in egg and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat some oil in pan, pan-fry yam croquettes at medium low heat until golden brown. Remove from fire and drain well on kitchen paper.
