黑豆莲藕排骨汤

莲藕能开胃清热,滋补养性。黑豆能养颜美容,增加肠胃蠕动。两者结合在一起是一道营养价值高的食品,老少咸宜。。。Basically this soup is good for relieving constipation and heatiness, therefore it is a nutritious for the old and young :D Both my kids love soup! Soup is a good way of letting them intake more liquid if they did not consume plain liquid on everyday basis. 


Ingredient

  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and presoaked till double in size
  • 700gm lotus roots, clean thoroughly and sliced
  • 400gm pork ribs,  rinsed and blanched
  • 1 honey date
  • salt to taste

Method
  1. Place all ingredients, except salt, in a pot with 2.5L water. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  2. Add salt to taste.
