Most deep fried wonton usually contained fillings like minced pork or prawn. Have you try using mashed potato as the main ingredients? Such a creative idea...not by me hahaha just discover this recipe in a cooking book called "我要当厨神" ^0^ Instead of deep frying the wonton, it was baked! Though not as crispy compare to frying, it did not compromise the taste. My kids absolutely loved this little baked potato wonton and had this throughout the day as their snack!
Some of the ingredients inside the wonton
Mix all the ingredients with mashed potatoes
Wrap up the filling with wonton skin, sealed and glazed with some oil before baking
Though the whole wonton (only the edge is crispy) is not as crispy compared to deep frying method, but it still tasted very very yummy!
My boy's hands caught in camera ^0^
