Golden Ingots

Suppose to use wanton wrapper but I use spring roll wrapper instead. Though the shape of this 'gold ingots' not as nice as what Fengyin did, but I'm still happy with the results :)

  • 120gm minced pork
  • 120gm minced prawn
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp light soya sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 tsp pepper
  • wanton/popiah wrapper
  1. Mix all ingredient till a sticky paste form. Chill in fridge for 30mins.
  2. Place some mixture onto wrapper. Seal up with cornstarch water.
  3. Deep fried in hot oil till golden brown. Drain well on kitchen paper towel. Serve hot.
