Happy 2nd Birthday Dear Son...

Today is our dear son 2nd birthday! I have baked a simple kiwi and strawberry layer cake (using the same sponge recipe as mango mousse cake) for him. Only do simple decorating by covering the cake with non-dairy cream and pipe the edge with buttercream and some fondant animals..this time manage to slice the cake into 3 layers but still not able to spread the cream evenly onto the cake :P

The fondant animals looks 'sweaty' cos I assembled the animals onto the cake yesterday night. So it is a 'no no' to place fondant into fridge!...
